Making people’s holidays better. With coffee.
Before we started a coffee business, I managed some cottages by the beach here in our little coastal town. It was a lovely job, and so rewarding seeing how much the experience meant to all the guests passing through the property. Your role and that feedback has you constantly reviewing all the little details, trying to make sure you’re offering the best you can to enhance their experience.
The coffee we provided during that time, I’m sorry to say was instant coffee. I know what I just said in the last paragraph but frankly, there just weren’t any great alternatives. Pod machines have come and gone.
- They’re expensive to provide for guests.
- The machines are cheap and break easily.
- They create a lot of waste.
- The coffee in the pods is pretty ordinary.
We wanted fresh coffee in the properties but just couldn’t find anybody to provide it, freshly roasted in small enough portions to make it work.
So we did it ourselves
As our coffee business grew, one of the first products we created was 50g pouches of freshly roasted coffee, for our own properties. We found these the perfect size for a single weekend guest, guaranteeing freshness and limiting unused wastage.
Pretty soon we were selling these into many of our competitors along the local coast and today you’ll find them on the kitchen bench of over 100 managed holiday properties in our area. Long story short - we roast coffee for a living now, not manage accommodation!
So why should you move over to our coffee?
Because its better and its easy. It’s cost effective and it reduces waste. See, not bad huh?
We roast fresh beautiful coffee every week and make our little accom’ pouches to order, so what arrives in your mail is at its peak. Which means your guests are getting the best.
All you need to do is supply a plunger in each kitchen and you’re away. If you have espresso machines that’s no problem because you can choose what equipment you have when you order and we match the grind to your prefrence. It’s that easy. One 50g pouch will do for a couple for a 2 night stay. If you have a bigger group, just add another pouch.
Brewing guide for plunger:
We have a full plunger brewing guide over here: plunger brewing guide.
But for a quick summary - take one of your little pouches, tear open the seal (smell the fresh coffee!) and scoop out about half of the contents or 25g into the plunger. It will be ground rather coarse, perfect for this style of brewing.
Take the boiled kettle, rested for a couple of minutes to cool it slightly and add about 100mL of water, stir and rest for 20sec - this is the bloom. Now add another 400mL and let sit for 2-3min. Plunge the filter down and pour. That’s it!
You can order the pouches in bulk, to get you though the busy season and our dispatch team post out daily.
We supply the pouches with our own branding, filled with 50g of our award winning Daily Blend. If you want pouches created with your own branding, or even a different blend of coffee to make them very much yours - let us know, and we can tailor a solution for you.

The little stovetop espresso maker (or moka pot) is a classic of every Nonna everywhere. They’re the perfect tool for delivering a great, full-bodied, rich coffee at home without taking up the whole bench in the kitchen. To learn more about it, we paid a visit to Pete, our resident expert. He’s been using his little Bialetti for years and we hoped he’d share his morning ritual with us so we could pass some tips on.
