The Wildside
The Wildside
By purchasing this coffee, you’re helping support wildlife conservation right across the chain of coffee production, and getting an excellent coffee to boot!
With undertones of chocolate and smooth malt, The Wildside makes your perfect milk-based espresso.
At Pinhal Farm in Brazil, where this coffee is grown, the WINGS project repopulates local bird species into the rainforest, where their numbers are threatened by illegal poaching and de-forestation.
Much closer to home, we've partnered with Conservation Ecology Centre to create a unique blend for their wildlife sanctuary, Wildlife Wonders, here on the Great Ocean Road. Why not savour a cup of The Wildside at their beautiful Emu Cafe?
The Conservation Ecology Centre is a not-for-profit ecological research and conservation organisation that first opened in the Otways in 2000. Since then, they have worked on various projects that aim to both protect and understand Australian ecosystems.
Wildlife Wonders is a certified Social Enterprise and offers guided tours through their stunning native Australian wildlife sanctuary.
Your purchase of the organically-grown and Fair Trade-certified The Wildside will help support the ecosystems we call home, with 10% of all sales being donated to the Conservation Ecology Centre.
The coffees in the Wildside are sourced from fifth and sixth generation farmers in Brazil and Colombia respectively. We’ve deliberately chosen to work with these growers not just for the outstanding quality of their coffee, but also for their approach to land management, conservation and education.
