How fresh are your coffee beans when I order online?
Freshness is the main reason people choose to buy from a roaster instead of a supermarket. We roast in small batches and dispatch daily, so your coffee isn’t sitting in a warehouse for months before it reaches you. It’s packed airtight and sent out quickly, which means the flavour and aroma are still intact when you brew your first cup. The roast date is printed on every bag, so you know exactly how fresh it is. Most customers receive their coffee within 1–3 days of the roast date.
How quickly do you deliver coffee beans in Australia?
All orders are roasted and dispatched promptly, with Australia-wide delivery via Australia Post. Most customers receive their coffee within a few business days, depending on location. Because we roast regularly rather than holding large volumes of pre-packed stock, you’re not waiting on old inventory to clear.
I’m not a coffee expert. How do I know which blend will suit me?
You don’t need to be a coffee expert to buy great beans. We keep the range simple and clearly positioned. The Daily Blend is our most popular everyday option and suits most people. The Dark Seas is fuller and stronger. The High Road is smoother and more refined. If you’re unsure, start with The Daily Blend and adjust from there.
I don’t want bitter coffee. Which beans should I choose?
Fresh, well-roasted coffee is rarely bitter. That unpleasant flavour is usually a sign of stale beans or a poorly calibrated machine - not an inherent quality of good coffee. Any of our blends will be significantly less bitter than regular supermarket coffee simply because they're fresh. If you want to be extra safe, start with The Daily Blend - it's specifically roasted for a smooth, easy drinking experience.
Can I buy coffee beans online and have them ground for my machine?
Yes - each individual coffee can be chosen as whole bean, or you can select your grind: espresso, filter, plunger, stovetop, or AeroPress. We grind fresh to order, so you get the same freshness regardless of which format you choose. Whole bean will stay fresh slightly longer if you're not drinking it quickly.
