This Ethiopian coffee comes from the renowned district of Yirgacheffe, famous for its rich earthy body, soft spice and bright zesty notes. While the lots available will vary throughout the year, it's a region we love and will always have something on offer. In a washed coffee, the Yirgacheffe is a potent, small, bean with a punchy and clean flavour. Think stone fruit, apricot, citrus, or a juicy berry complexity.A naturally processed Yirgacheffe coffee will have some of the most powerful aromatics of any coffee available.  These "fruit bombs" can deliver insane levels of sweet, bold and fruity elements that are unrivalled anywhere.  

If you're serving as an espresso, the complex spice and soft texture comes to the fore, while brewed as a filter coffee, the fresh fruit-driven aroma will fill the cup, and the room.

Espresso

This will be best for most domestic espresso machines.

Stove-top

Suits a traditional moka pot style brewer.

Aeropress

Great for those devices or similar from other manufacturers.

Filter

A little coarser now, good for most styles of pour-over brewing.

Plunger

This is our coarsest setting. For a slower brewed, smooth french-press.

We use Australia Post for all postage and offer standard and Express.

We dispatch every weekday, with super-freshly roasted coffee so it arrives as youthful as possible at your door.

How fresh is the coffee when it arrives?

We roast fresh every day - that means it’s never sitting around in a warehouse waiting to be picked. Once it's roasted, we pack it up and send it out fresh, usually with all orders sent the next business day. You'll see the roast date right on the bag, so you know exactly when it was made.

How is it packaged? Will it stay fresh?

Every bag is fitted with a one-way valve to keep oxygen out and flavour in. We also use resealable packaging so your coffee stays as fresh on day 10 as it was on day 1. No stale beans here.

How long does shipping take?

Once your coffee is roasted, we typically ship the next business day. We use Australia Post, a reliable, nationwide, trackable delivery service. So your order gets to you quickly and in peak condition. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as it’s on its way.

What does it taste like?

Each of our blends is crafted from selected crops for a distinct flavour profile. For example, The Dark Seas tastes kinda like dark chocolate with a hint of cherry — rich, smooth, and never bitter. We use natural-tasting descriptions, not technical jargon, so you know what you're getting in the cup.
